Eligibility Criteria

• Qualifications: Candidates must hold a PhD. with a first-class or equivalent grade at the preceding degree level and demonstrate a strong academic record.
• Experience: Relevant teaching, research, or industry experience as specified for each role.
  • Assistant Professor Grade-II: Less than 3 years of post-Ph.D. experience.
  • Assistant Professor Grade-I: Minimum 3 years of post-Ph.D. experience.
  • Associate Professor: At least 6 years of teaching/research experience, including 3 years as Assistant Professor.
  • Professor: At least 10 years of teaching/research experience, including 4 years as Associate Professor.

Pay Structure and Benefits
IIT (ISM) offers competitive pay scales based on the 7th CPC:

• Assistant Professor Grade-II: Pay Level 10 (₹70,900/-)

• Associate Professor: Pay Level 13A2 (₹1,39,600/-)
• Professor: Pay Level 14A (₹1,59,100/-)
